Who are we? What are we about? What are our goals?
We are a state affiliate of Learning Forward. All affiliates speak with one voice about the importance of effective professional learning to improve teaching, leadership, and student learning.
Because of our loyal relationship to Learning Forward, we have adopted the Vision and Mission statement of this guiding organization. We have also adopted the same beliefs and long-term goals. They are listed below.
Learning Forward Pa is governed by a Board of Directors who volunteer their time and talent to this non-profit organization. A set of ByLaws, a Strategic Plan, and a yearly Action Plan adds the structure, direction, and accountability to the organization. To learn more click here.

LFPA Fall Institute
Each year, LFPA strives to bring you a top researcher, author, or professional developer in the field of education to present a topic that will advance your professional learning. We also do our best to invite a representative from the PA Department of Education to our Institute to provide an update to our members. Lunch is included in a day packed with learning.
Our board members as well as you, our membership at large, contribute to our newsletters. Go to our Newsletters tab on our website if you are interested in sharing your expertise!
