Dr. Stacey Stoudt
Secretary
With the ever changing demands of the educational profession, the commitment to professional learning cannot be overstated. My passion for life-long learning for myself and others is what has drawn me to this organization.
My professional educational career began in 1988, however, my love of learning started much before then. After graduating with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary education from Kutztown University, I enjoyed 20 wonderful years serving elementary students and their families. With continued studies in Teacher Leadership & Instructional Coaching, I enjoyed three challenging years as sole Instructional Coach for seven Wilson elementary schools. As a coach, I also had the fortune of being selected to participate in Learning Forward Academy Class of 2011. My M.S. Ed. and Principal certification was obtained through Wilkes University, and my doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management from Drexel University.
Professional influences include the work of Fountas & Pinnell, Allington, Wiggins & McTighe, and Lucy Calkins, to name just a few. Others such as Dweck, Pink, Covey, and Gladwell are among those who have altered my perspectives both professionally and personally. I would be remiss without recognizing the many educators, parents, students, colleagues, family members, and friends who have influenced the person I am today. Life is a journey comprised of constant learning opportunities. Thanks to all of you!
